Lorena Wiebes made history by becoming the first woman to win a Tour de France stage in 33 years, and she brought along a special someone for her yellow jersey photo. The series between the Diamondbacks and Nationals got interesting after Madison Bumgarner challenged Victor Robles’ home run celebration on Saturday, leading to a “clown show” on Sunday. Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum received a gift bag from Tom Brady and his celebration couldn’t be purer. MORE: Klay Thompson is clearly enjoying his offseason as he drank beer at the Giants vs Dodgers game and celebrated his brother Trayce helping LA to victory.

He does not hide. He’s just there enjoying it…nobody loves life like Klay Thompson.

Pushed to right center field, to the sidelines, and they regain the lead. And Clay loves it.

JARED WHARF: For the first time in 33 years, the women’s Tour de France is back.

It was time.

JARED WHARF: Dutch Lorena Wiebes beat double Olympic champion Marianne Vos to win the first stage in Paris. And the photo of the Dutch cyclist’s yellow jacket is iconic. Not only is this the first photo of a woman winning the Tour de France stage in a long time, but she’s celebrating with her child and a giant stuffed lion.

JARED WHARF: Wait, wait, wait, what? It’s not his child? No wonder the kid made that face. I’m not sure I can be behind the winners stealing kids to complete their victory photos. Oh, it’s her friend’s child.

OKAY. Apparently they agree that if Wiebes won the stage, she would take the kid to the podium. Is using other people’s kids as catwalk props a thing now? Just when you think you’ve seen it all.

Baseball may have celebrated its Hall of Fame induction this weekend, but IMHO, all the good stuff in baseball was in the Nationals-Diamondbacks series. On Saturday, Washington outfielder Victor Robles hit a home run against Madison Bumgarner, aka MadBum, of Arizona. And MadBum didn’t like the way Robles celebrated the meaningless dinger with Washington at 6.

What did you think of Robles’ reaction to that home run?

MADISON BUMGARNER: He’s a clown. Damn it. No shame. No shame. It’s 7 to 1, you hit your third home run of the year, you act like Barry Bonds breaking the record. Clean that up.

JARED WHARF: Damn. Calling someone a clown because you don’t like the way they celebrate a home run? Well, Robles may have had the last laugh, as he showed up to Sunday’s game with a clown nose.

Who’s the clown now?

JARED WHARF: The trolling must have worked as the Nats took a 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks. And I’ll just say it. These petty fights are going to save America’s hobby, so keep it up, gentlemen.

Who wouldn’t want to receive a gift bag from Tom Brady?

Maybe Bill Belichick. But anyone else would love TB12 gear. If you want proof of this look, look no further than Las Vegas star Kelsey Plum acting like a kid on Christmas.

JARED WHARF: It’s just a good healthy reaction. I mean, the jerseys are expensive, around $130. So if you get one for free from the GOAT, I’d say I’d be pretty excited too. If anything, you can sell it to make a quick buck. In fact, you could make a lot of money.

You know inflation is high, it’s a GOAT autographed jersey, you’ll probably get at least $1,000 off. But, I mean, what would you buy with that? Because inflation is high. You can’t even put it– you know, I mean, these days you can’t even get a couple cheeseburgers from In-N-Out.
