In 2020, Regency Centers filed a plan that called for part of the Kmart to be demolished. According to the plan, a convenience store with gas pumps, an auto service center and a retail site would be built in the mall’s parking lot.

Edge Fitness will be next to Pike Creek Community Hardware in the Pike Creek Mall on Limestone Road. The building, shown June 15, 2022, was once a Big Kmart.
