It’s the most beautiful time of the year! That being said with baseball in a dormant state, I wanted to give you my 2022 Detroit Tigers vacation wishlist.

We’ve already seen the team take some big steps like bringing in Javier Baez and Eduardo Rodriguez. In the spirit of “Twelve days of Christmas” here are a few things on my list this year. Making it ‘nine day baseball season’ everyone sing along to me! If there was a picture of Al Avila disguised as Santa Claus, I would post it. Does it exist? Can he? That would make him SantAvila.

On the last day of the baseball season, my GM offered me a 2022 World Series Championship!

Is it too much to think that this disjointed team, improving with a ton of upcoming talent and a renewed spirit can perform a miracle? I do not think so. The division is winnable, and while many will feel like they’re not there yet, they’re not done moving either. If Miguel Cabrera can get back to some form of his past and Akil Baddoo can build on his great rookie season, other teams better watch out and better not cry.

On the second day of the baseball season, my general manager gave me – Two pen arms!

The Detroit Tigers are not done bringing in new players to compete in 2022. The enclosure for the Tigers in 2021 was not great. If the team is to shock the world on their way to a World Series championship, then they will need arresting weapons in the paddock. Gregory Soto, Jose Cisnero, Michael Fulmer, Kyle Funkhouser, Tyler Alexander and Joe Jimenez are the ones the Tigers primarily work with right now. There are some nice arms out there, but they need a few pieces of pen from the more experienced lifters. Brad Hand and former Tigers first-round draft pick Andrew Miller are available through free agency, but there are also weapons they could potentially acquire through trade.

On the third day of the baseball season, my GM gave me – three hitters with at least 25 home runs!

Power would go a long way for this team in the future. Robbie Grossman led the team with 23 homers last season, and only two other players (Eric Haase, Jonathan Schoop) had more than 20. Baez had 31 big flies for the Cubs and Mets last season, so he did. will surely bring a lot. pop to the starting nine for the Tigers. If the team can do more home runs it will go a long way – literally.

On day four of the baseball season, my GM gave me – four starters pitching 150 innings or more!

The Detroit Tigers are a young team. Last year, only Casey Mize reached the 150 innings plateau. Tarik Skubal has come very close with over 149 innings pitched, but to deepen the season and the playoffs the team need consistent arms that can go out there and compete for more than five or six innings at a time. Eduardo Rodriguez pitched just under 158 innings, so if he stays healthy you can lock him up, but I’d like to see others increase their workload. Mize and Skubal can do it, who will be the fourth?

On the fifth day of the baseball season, my GM gave me – Five Golden Gloves!

This one made too much sense! Defense wins the championships.

On day six of the baseball season, my GM gave me – Six streak wins in July!

The Tigers have eight playoffs in July ending the All-Star game. They face the Guardians, Royals, White Sox and Twins among others. By July, this team will have more identity, and winning six of the eight series against mostly division rivals will go a long way in the standings and the clubhouse. Tigers fans should circle July on their schedule now.

On the seventh day of the baseball season, my GM gifted me – Seven More Years of Spencer Torkelson and Riley Greene!

Lock up these two young prospects for years to come and show fans and these two gentlemen that they are the cornerstones of this franchise for years to come. Wander Franco had some experience in the league when he recently signed his massive extension, but it showed Rays fans that the team is serious. The Tigers could do the same, and it wouldn’t be as expensive as Franco. The number of jerseys that would be sold on the first day Torkelson and Greene were extended would be worth it on the spot.

On the eighth day of the baseball season, my GM gave me -eight clear wins!

The record for wins on foot in a single season is 13 by the 2009 Mariners. Every magical season has wins on foot, and a win on foot, whether by a home run or a base loaded walk, is always. exciting. My favorite personal Tigers victory is a An evidence.

On the ninth day of the baseball season, my GM gave me – Nine All Stars!

Okay, this one is aiming for the moon, but it is possible! All Detroit Tigers fans have to do is vote, vote, vote! A truly competitive squad for the first few months of the season can be all the motivation fans need to have Akil Baddoo and Tucker Barnhart in the starting lineup in July.

Happy Holidays to Tigers fans! Let us know in the comments what your Ball Club vacation wish is!
